Kayleigh Marie is a fantastic female vocalist from Swansea, South Wales. She appeared on ITV’s the X Factor in 2016, with Simon Cowell as her mentor. She was eliminated at the judges’ houses stage in Malibu, LA. In 2022, Kayleigh appeared on ITV’s Starstruck, impersonating the vocal sensation, Celine Dion, performing in front of judges Olly Murs, Adam Lambert, Sheridan Smith, and Beverley Knight.

From the age of 8 and being a fluent welsh speaker, Kayleigh started performing at international competitions such as “Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yr urdd” and this is where she found her passion for singing. This led to her performing in venues across south Wales with her “showstopping” and “experienced” shows.

In 2016, Kayleigh auditioned for the X Factor UK and had Simon Cowell as her mentor. Her journey began in Scotland securing 3 “yeses” with her rendition of ‘With You’ from Ghost the Musical from Judges Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Nicole Sherzinger describing her as “a vocal powerhouse” and “scared of Kayleigh in the BEST WAY”. Kayleigh was successful in reaching the last 6 girls in the under 25’s category of the competition. Securing her place in the judges’ houses round, she flew out to LA and stayed at Simon Cowell’s house in Malibu. It was here, that she sang in front of ‘Scary Spice’ Mel B and ‘Baby Spice’ Emma Bunton. This was the round that Kayleigh got eliminated with Simon telling her that at 19 years old, Kayleigh was not yet ready.

Kayleigh went on to perform at big international venues with artists such as Fleur East, Professor Green, Slade, Rhydian Roberts and Louise Dearman. Kayleigh has success on stations such as HITS RADIO UK, NATION RADIO, HEART and BBC RADIO WALES. She has appeared regularly on welsh TV channel “Heno” and “Tag” with S4C.

Kayleigh is now a successful music manager and female vocalist with Carnival Cruise Line.
